He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Eberling and Connie Eberling (Sutherland); his former wife Sandra; his children, Chris and Traci; and his sister Judy VonThaden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne (Stalknaker); his sons, Joe of Monroe, NY and Kraig (Caitlin) of Hanover; and his sister Dale Gordon (Bruce) of Wake Forest, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
