She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawler and Anna Lawler. She is survived by: her husband Sylvan; her children, Mary Blier Reynolds (Dave Reynolds) of Lexington, MA and Bill Blier (Nancy Edson) of Washington, DC; her grandchildren, Kathleen "Katie" Fitzgerald (Adam Fitzgerald), Matthew Reynolds, Rachel Blier, Daniel Blier and Ben Blier; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Jamie and Rhys Fitzgerald; and her sister Patricia Murphy of Riverdale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of Kay's memory (stjude.org).
