He was predeceased by: his siblings, Peter P. Popernack and Mary E. Spengler. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Popernack (Headlee); his sons, Michael P. Popernack, John Patrick Popernack and Joseph Louis Popernack (Jennifer) of Harrisburg; his granddaughter Sarah Regina Popernack; his brother James A. Popernack (Myra) of Hummelstown; and his brother-in-law Kelly Spengler of Winfield, PA..
