He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Smallwood; and his siblings, Lugenia Ann Kittrell and William Walker, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Tenisha Smith (Mike), Joena Folk-Watkins (Laf) and Jonae Deshields; his stepson Keyion Gywnn; his grandchildren, Anasya Watkins, Ajanae Henderson and Nigeria Watkins; his great grandchild Kamari Henderson; and his sister Helen Atterberry.
