She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecilio Santiago and Maria Ricarda Melendez; her son Manuel Alicea; and her grandsons, Alexis Velazquez and Jonathan Mendez.
She is survived by: her children, Andres Torres of Puerto Rico, Marili Torres of Puerto Rico, Sigelfrido Velazquez of Puerto Rico, Evelyn Torres of Chicago, Wanda Torres of Lancaster, Juan B. Velazquez of Lancaster, Mildred Rodriguez of Lancaster and Yecenia Seaz of York. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services (317 E Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
