With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John S. Howard of York, Pennsylvania, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on June 17, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca M. Howard (Stornes); his children, Nathan J. Howard (Kelly) of Lancaster, PA and Krista M. Whitehead (Jabari) of Media; his grandchildren, Katherine, Cooper Howard, Avery and Evan Whitehead; his sister-in-law Kathleen Stornes; and his cousins, Kathryn Ekstrom, Thomas Allison, Michele Sandberg, Patricia Nelson and James Hale.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York, Pa 17401 or a charity of your choice.
