With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Frye Jr. in York, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Frye, Sr. and Ruth Frye (Baughman); and his wife Mary M. Frye (Shirey). He is survived by: his children, Dr. Jeffrey Frye, Patty Gemmill, Deborah Goulden and Connie Evans; his stepdaughters, Anne Schaale and Lee Miller; and his sisters, Audrey Fosbrink and Eileen Baer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
