It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Finlayson (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Finlayson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence and Sarah Finlayson (Jones); his sister Jean; and his pets, Violet and Claws.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger"; his sons, John "Jay" (Michele) and James "Thad" (Shoko); his siblings, Nancy Padgett, Andrew Finlayson (Sarah) and Bruce Finlayson; his niece Cristin Ryan (Colin); his nephew Colin Padgett; his great-nieces, Caroline, Emily and Caitlin; and his sister-in-law Ann Marie.
Due to the rising covid numbers, a funeral service will be held for family only.
