He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian A. Michal (Kauffman); and his siblings, William Michal and Mary Michal. He is survived by: his daughters, Jane M. (Peter E. Piepmeier) of York and Judy A. (Ed Heiner); his grandchildren, Julie (Jack Grove), Katie (Dustin Sechrist), Ed (Reghan Heiner) and Jimmy (Amanda Heiner); and his great grandchildren, Hanna, Emma Grove, Dylan, Kolby Sechrist, Duke, Porter Heiner, Addie and J. J. Heiner.
