She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel M. Ness (Carlton) and Alvin Kocher; her son Howard "Trip" Schildt III; and her sister Alice Ann Flury. She is survived by: her children, Aleta Smith (Dick), Marcie Shindler (Ronald II) and Darren Schildt of York; and her siblings, Lori Hall, Sandy Hengst, Janelle Warner and Fred Kocher. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
