He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessie and Veora Hawthorne (Coleman); his son Harold F. (Amira Hawthorne) of Aberdeen, MD; his grandchildren, Ashley Hawthorne, Jevon Berry, Maurice Hawthorne and Alexis Hawthorne; and his siblings, Henry Hawthorne of Georgiana, Thera Coleman of Aberdeen, Vera M. Jordan, Era Brown and James Hawthorne. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
