She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Dean Cheesebrough; her parents, Gilbert Ballenger and Grace Ballenger; and her siblings, Norma Jean Tarris, Grace Frasca (Henny) and Richard Painter.
She is survived by: her brother Gilbert Harry Ballenger of Sullivan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
