He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Kirby (Kortie); his parents, Edward H. Kirby and Bessie Kirby (Meckley); his close friend Phyllis L. Miller; and his brother Edward H. Kirby Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Jody Romesburg of York; and his grandchildren, Amanda Rauhauser (Justin) of York and Dustin Whitacre of York. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
