With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila V. (Grimm) Sherman of York, Pennsylvania, born in Tunnelton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Sherman; her parents, Harvey E. Grimm and Julia M. Grimm (Ream); her son Dennis Knowels; and her siblings, Sam Grimm, Phillip Grimm, Watson Grimm and Argyle Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Grimm, Sterling "Bobby" Toomey and Joleen Shoff; her grandchildren, Mike Krouse, Joleen Brown, Tony Grimm, Chad Keeney, Jessica Grimm, Holly Toomey and Jacob Toomey; and her sisters, Lorraine Rumple and Delores Warner. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
