He is survived by: his daughters, Kerstin Lane of York, Karen Wirschal of York and Marion Wirschal of Ellicott City, MD; his grandchildren, Mark Lane (Krystal) of York, Melissa Lane of York, Anna Wirschal of York and Matthew Lane (Shannon) of York; his brothers, Manfred Wirschal of Germany and Guenter Wirschal (Trudel) of Germany; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Vetter (Alfred) of Germany and Helmuth Treichel (Ursula) of Augsburg, Germany..
