With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George R. Strathmeyer in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace (Seacrist) and George R. Strathmeyer, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Pamela A. Strathmeyer (Myers); his son Jon Kevin Strathmeyer (Karen) of York; and his grandchildren, Hannah Strathmeyer and Brady Strathmeyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York County Literacy Council, 1416 Sixth Avenue, York, PA 17403.
