With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George R. Lewis of York, Pennsylvania, born in Attica, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on November 8, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Evert (Sprague) and Hugh R. Lewis; and his siblings, Gladys, Hugh and Bill.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jeremy, Erin, Christine, Tim, Johnna, Rachel, Katie, Nate and Paige. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Schmidt Funeral Home - Nazareth (407 E Belvidere St, Nazareth, PA 18064). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moravian Hall (175 W North St, Nazareth, PA 18064).
