He is survived by: his sons, Emmanuel James of Lancaster, Nayquan James of York, Issiah James of York and Elijah James of York; his grandchildren, Zaiden and Jonathan; and his siblings, Walcott Steele, Emelda Isaac, Lemuel James, Brenda Farrell and Rosalind Matthew. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
