She is survived by: her husband Aaron; her sons, Miles and Max; her parents, Timothy and Susan; her sisters, Megan (Matt) and Martha (Jesse); her grandmother Margaret; and her niece Vivian.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of York (225 E Market St, York, PA 17403). She sent postcards to her students during COVID lockdown, encouraged her seniors to spend time outside or care for themselves, organized get togethers outside of class to help students get to know one another, and met one-on-one with new faculty to check-in and help them best support students.
