With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Stetzer Flemmens of York, Pennsylvania, born in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis G. Bortner and Augusta C. Bortner (Graser); her former husband Adam Stetzer; her husband Malden C. Flemmens; her siblings, George W. Bortner, Lewis G. Bortner, Jr., Donald E. Bortner, Clyde L. Bortner, Arlene M. Markel Myers, Marguerite C. Myers, Anna L. Dubbs, Leona V. Wildasin and Thelma P. Thoman; and her stepsons, Laverne Stetzer and Stephen Flemmens.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey A. Stetzer (Wanda) of York; her stepchildren, Robert Flemmens (Susan) of Hanover, Joan Main of New Oxford, Jeffrey Flemmens (Darlene) of East Berlin and Sandra L. Miller (John) of Dover; her siblings, Myrl L. Bortner (Joanna) of Glen Rock, Paul H. Bortner, Sr. (Violet) of Spring Grove and Mary J. Swartzbaugh (Ashley) of Jefferson; her stepdaughter-in-law Pamela Flemmens of York; and her grandchildren, Sarah E. Stetzer, Adam J. Stetzer, Nikki Warfield (Blaine) and Brock Flemmens (Danielle). She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
