He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Whistler and Evelyn Whistler (Leiter). He is survived by: his sister Joyce Bargo (Norman) of Mifflintown; his nephew Travis (Melissa); his great-nephews, Travis, Benjamin and Andrew of Glen Mills, PA.; his friends, Evelyn Mayer of Sarasota, FL and Marilyn Brandon; and his pets, Valley of Delaware and Zoey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fourth United Methodist Church (20 N Lehman St, York, PA 17403). A masonic service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
