He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria F. Ayers (Arnold); his son Donald L. Ayers, Jr.; his stepfather John Miller; and his siblings, William Miller, Levering Miller, John Miller, Velma Resinger and Mary Fleming.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy S. Bair (David) of Manchester; his grandson Zachary David Bair; and his brother James Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
