He was predeceased by: his wife Althea Mae Hartman (Gatewood); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Hartman (Tracy Schanzer) of Ridgefield, CT and Kevin Hartman (Patricia) of York; his grandson Justin Hartman of York; and his brothers, Larry, Richard, Robert and Paul.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah United Methodist Church, 1300 N. Beaver St, York, PA 17404; or to a charity of your choice.
