With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Shertzer of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Leonard Shertzer and Brenda Shertzer (Warin) of Harrisburg; his sisters, Diane Vestal (Shertzer) and Denise Williamson (Shertzer); his stepmother Evelyn Shertzer (McCarthy); his aunts, Dorothy Lauderbaugh and Hazel Kurz; his nieces and nephews, Autumn Farrell, Jasmine Simone, Olivia Vestal, Rhiannon Williamson, Jordan Fabie and Justin Williamson; and his cousins, Sheilah Lauderbaugh and Debbie Moore.

He is survived by: his stepsister Susan Hunter; his brother-in-law Greg Guess; and his stepsisters, Sue Hunter, Barb Oyler and Deb Sallade.

In loving memory of David, donations may be made to the Margaret E. Moul Home, a place close to David's heart, at 2050 Barley Rd, York PA 17408.
