He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Francis and Catherine Mae Shaffer (Dittenhafer). He is survived by : his siblings, Linda C. Hopstetter (Joseph D.) of Manchester, Kay L. Strausbaugh (Curvin) of York, Kathy L. Nalbandian (Scott Wolfe) of East Berlin and Michael R. Shaffer (Teresa) of Charlottesville, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
