He was predeceased by: his wife Paula A. Wetzel (Hoke); his parents, Clarence Wetzel and Henrietta Wetzel (Hinkle); and his siblings, Linda Spahr, Barb Ellis, Ethel Backel and Clarence Wetzel, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Tina Green (Rick), Melanie Messersmith (Shawn), Jamie Brennan (Craig) and Daniel Wetzel, Jr. (Cortni); his grandchildren, Nick Green, Octavia McClane (Tyler), Breean Messersmith, Mickayla Brennan, Victoria Brennan and Nathan Green; his great grandchildren, Jacoby, Jayce, Gionna and Ani'lah; and his sister Patricia Malehorn.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Etzweiler Funeral Home - York (1111 E Market St, York, PA 17403). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Lebanon Healthcare System, Center for Development and Community Engagement, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue.
