Carter (Alea Carter); her godchildren, Forrest Stephens and Pa'Ron Rice; her close friend Gregory Lee Harris; her grandchild Parker; her daughter Mikeya Thompson-Tyler; her siblings, Richard Monroe (Terri), Murphy Franklin, Jr., Linell Parker, Linda Wilson, Carmalina Monroe and Glorina Jordan; and her grandchildren, Cynthia T. Wilson, Tyisai S. Wilson, Luis C. Laboy and Quincey L. Carter.
