He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Rau and Mary Rau (Berkheimer). He is survived by: his wife Joan E. (Kerr); his daughters, Cynthia Hopkins (John), Kimberly Rau and Nanette Gingerich (Dan); his grandchildren, Taylor Gingerich (Jacki) and Molly Gingerich; and his great grandchild Raegan Gingerich.
