It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Rush of York, Pennsylvania, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence M. Rush (Merv); and her parents, Charles VanPelt and Anita VanPelt (Alspaugh). She is survived by: her sons, Mark J. Plaugher (Melinda) and Todd W. Plaugher (Mindy); her stepdaughter Caroline Dewese (Denny); and her sister Susan Schmutz. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
