He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. Kauffman, Sr. and Donalene M. Kauffman (Snyder); his close friend Joyce Kreiger; and his aunt Ernadella "Dell" Smith. He is survived by: his children, Carl R. Kauffman, III (Tanya) of Littlestown and Christina M. Sommers (Joseph) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his sisters, Joella "Jodi" Peters, Janice Kauffman, Joan Coleman and Joyce Heffner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
