He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Harrell and Nettie Harrell (Greene). He is survived by: his wife Violet (Taylor); his daughters, Donna Kay Miller of York and Deanna Beard (Jim) of Brogue, PA; his grandsons, Rusty McGinnis (Polly) of Abingdon, MD and Josh Beard (Kayla) of Windsor, PA; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Aidan McGinnis, Audrey and Emmett Beard.
