She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Henry and Helen Fink Chronister; her husband Clay Whitson; her son Jeffery Whitson; and her grandson Brock Tiehel.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Whitson of Hanover, Tom Whitson (Ronda) of Dover, Patricia Perky (Dave), Robert Whitson (Teri) of Abbottstown, Karen Lookenbill (Mark) of York and Tony Whitson (Patti) of Spring Grove; and her grandchildren, Tate, Tim, Shannon, Tia, Sarah, Nichole, Travis, Clayton and Kristen. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
