He was predeceased by: his parents, Panagiotis Giourtis and Diamonto Giourtis. He is survived by: his wife Elvira Franzis (Ntonados); his daughters, Diamando Wallace, Adrianna Giourtis, Natali Giourtis (Wesley Bender) and Michele Giourtis; his granddaughter Audrina Wallace; his stepchildren, Peter and Irene Franzis; his siblings, Kostas Giourtis (Demetra Giourtis) and Asimo Semos; his nieces, Linda Semos, Diane DiIanni and Kristina Belessis (Paul Belessis); and his great-nephew Dominick DiIanni.
