It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice M. Markley of York, Pennsylvania, born in Hellam, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William F. "Bill" Markley; and her parents, Rufus Sechrist and Naomi Sechrist (Leber). She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Zimmerman of Palmyra, PA, Christopher Markley (Daisy) of York, PA and Jonathan Markley (Jennifer) of Denver, CO; and her grandchildren, Brett Zimmerman, Natalie Markley and Caroline Markley.
