She was predeceased by: her husband Edward T. Bortner; her parents, Hattie Myers (Taylor) and Mamie; her daughter Jennifer Jo Bortner; and her brother Richard Kehm.
She is survived by: her children, Harold L. Darr of York, Ronald D. Darr of Broadway, VA, Lorena M. Millwater of York, Alana 'Sue Rugh of York and James D. Bortner of Seven Valleys. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
