He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Thomas Mitchell and Freda Mitchell (O'Donnell); his granddaughters, Sarah Mitchell and Erica Mitchell; and his siblings, Leslie Mitchell, Jr. and Peggy Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerri" Rose Mitchell (Ferry); his children, John "Jack" Leslie Mitchell (Betsy) of Trevose, Thomas "Tommy" Mitchell of Oregon, Gary P. Mitchell (Jeannie) of Trevose, James "Jimmy" Mitchell (Joanne) and Peggy Elgert (James) of Trevose; and his stepson William "Bill" Leo Griesser (Amanda) of Langhorne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
