With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Lou Sweeney (York Haven, Pennsylvania), born in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph H. Reider, Sr. and Madge A. Reider (Ritter); her husband James E. Sweeney, Sr.; her son James E. Sweeney, Jr.; and her siblings, Lawrence Reider and Arlyne Reider.
She is survived by: her sons, John W. Sweeney of York Haven and Aaron E. Sweeney, Sr. (Sandra) of Manchester; her grandsons, Aaron E. Sweeney, Jr. (Sarah) and Dennis Alan Sweeney (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, Hayden, Madison and Garrett; and her siblings, Lois Rider of Dover, Ethel Schrom of York, Nancy Wise of Red Lion, Dorothy Grothe of Maryland Line, MD, Carolyn Sowers of York, Patty Armold of Dover, Ralph Reider of Appomattox, VA and William Reider of York. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
