He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Burkholder and Elizabeth Burkholder (Cone); his sister Catherine W. Snyder; and his former wife Deborah Burkholder (Pearce). He is survived by: his sons, Robert M. Burkholder Jr. of Yeagertown and Billy Burkholder of Lewistown; his siblings, Lucinda Swartz (Roger) of Lewistown, Patrick J. Burkholder Sr. (Sally) of Lewistown, Mary L. Barger (Dave) of Granville and Susan L. Burkholder of Yeagertown; and his former wife Terri Burkholder (Brannon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
