She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Patterson and Edward Patterson; her son Patrick Peternel; and her husband G. Nelson Higley. She is survived by: her former spouse Dom Peternel; her children, Randall Higley of Yeagertown, Lance Higley (Bonnie) of Midlothian, VA, Rhian Higley (Ann) of Harrisburg, Adelle Lloyd (Lew) of Harrisburg, Erin Clippinger (Rod) of York Haven and Lisa Milletics (Tim) of Harrisburg; and her grandchildren, Arian, Bryan, Chealsea, Laura, Jason, Tom, Alicia, Mindy, Jeff and Austin. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
