It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George W. Burdick of Yeagertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael W. Burdick and Marian Burdick (Leeper); his daughter Carla Ann Burdick-Dempsey; his sister Beverly Sellers; and his significant other Mary Lou "Louise" Burdick (Burkholder).

He is survived by: his son D. Chris Burdick (Sharon) of Lewistown; his son-in-law Jack Dempsey of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Lance Peachey (Ashley) of McVeytown, Landrey and Brooks Burdick; and his great grandchild Rollins Peachey. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's memory may be made to The Juniata Valley YMCA, 105 1st Ave., Burnham, PA 17009.
