“As a prayer warrior, winnie was able to be in touch with god as we tackled severe illnesses in our family. She was a nurse to my wife, her sister in christ during very difficult times. Winnie prayed diligently, and the result of those prayers were amazing! Things could have gone badly, but did not. Winnie enjoyed a wonderful ministry as “first lady” alongside her husband of 35 years, rev. James kinchen and her beloved son jimmy. It brought tears to my eyes when winnie,”

“James, and jimmy prayed in succession on mount carmel’s noonday prayer line a few weeks ago. In 2015, james was our sunday guest preacher at church. At a certain point in his sermon, he cued winnie with a nod of his head and looked into her eyes, and she immediately knew to get up out her seat, and accompany his message on the piano. I’ve never been so proud of my sister winifred, and the woman she’s become. It is no secret that winnie’s musical talent developed in church over the years.”

“Her voice grow stronger has truly been a blessing. Especially after watching her most recent performances on facebook. I’ve never been so touched to see all the love and praise she received by her ministry, family, and friends. Winnie has truly been a blessing to us all. We all love and miss her so very much. She continuously encouraged us to humble ourselves, pray, and seek god’s face, so that we will all be reunited again. Winnie was a model of discipleship, love, devotion, and faith.”

“She was a triumphant gift to the world, and she left the world better than she found it. Winnie will be remembered for her legacy of love, dedication, commitment to god, and faithful service to others. On april 29th, 2020, the lord said to winifred, “well done good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over things in your life…” winnie departed this earthly life for a heavenly existence in the “heart of god.” god has received a faithful servant, and our loss is heaven’s gain.”

“We are thankful and blessed to have had winnie in our lives. We’ve watched her grow spiritually and musically which gave us much joy and comfort. Winnie had a wonderful life, and words cannot describe how much we miss her. We have many precious memories that will forever remain in our hearts. More than we can share. “. We all loved her! All the children in the family were very special to her. When i think of winnie, this bible verse comes to mind, “train up a child in the way she should go: and when she is old, she will not depart from it” (proverbs 22:6). Winnie was a child born of god-loving parents who trained her in the knowledge, discipline, and instruction of the lord. As a child, winnie laughed easily, was fun loving, energetic, and curious. I have a particular memory of winnie as a kid.”

“A tribute to her legacy – winifred ann moss kinchen “winnie” is the baby girl of the family and many of us remember her birth, nine pounds seven ounces, with a full head of thick, black, curly hair sleeping in a dresser drawer. Due to the current state of the world many of us are not able to attend this funeral service. However, be assured that we all love winnie unconditionally, and under normal circumstances would be there. Winnie cared about each and every one of us, and our friends.”
