It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Rose Moore of Yeadon, Pennsylvania, born in Darby, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Carmine and Anna Carmine; her husband Russell Moore; her grandson Michael Greco; her siblings, Josephine Orwat, Helene Condy, Frank, Eugene and Richard Carmine; her cousin Anna; and also Ida Fazzi.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Greco (Debbie), Diane Burtson (Albert), Rita Killeen (Thomas) and Deborah Tascone (Anthony); her grandchildren, James, Donald, Maria (Tim), Marc (Tiffany), Albert (Anita), Steven (Emily), Tom (Jennifer), Tim (Laura), Sarah (Kenny), Anthony (Caitlin) and Leanne; and her sister-in-law Gloria Mackenzie. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (1101 Main St, Darby, PA 19023). A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions In Rita's Memory to BVM Church or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
