He was predeceased by: his parents, John Missar and Mary Missar of Yeadon; and his siblings, Theresa, Jack, Loretta, Michael and Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Lois (Unglaub); and his children, Linda (DiMatteo), David and Kathleen (Earle). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
