She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Boston; her former husband Jamil Abdus-Sabur; her father Robert Boston; and her brothers, Robert Jr. and Ronald E. Boston.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert; her children, Shakur Abdul-Sabur (Rauminah) of Philadelphia, PA, Rasiyn Abdul Sabur (Donna) of Philadelphia, PA, Najwah Abdul Sabur of Philadelphia, PA and Nisah Abdul Sabur of Manassas, VA; her stepdaughters, Monica Eley and Kia Bracy Ashford (Chris) of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, Haafizah, Aasiyah, I, Qhyzir, Ihsan, Anajah and Amir; and her sisters, Laura Boston Jones (Walter) of Media, PA, Kathryn Boston Smith (Ernest) of Philadelphia, PA and Sorors. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
