He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moore, Sr. and Ella B. Moore; his daughter Sherri; his grandson Noah; and his sisters, Ellen Beatrice, Isabel, Martha and Ella.
He is survived by: his children, Monique (Eric), Stephanie and Joseph III (Syreeta); his stepson Andre; his sister Marcella; and his grandchildren, Hafeesah, Mecca, Robert, Micah, Ajahnae, Joseph IV, Joe, Joselyn and Malic. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his beloved fraternity brothers.
His unwavering leadership and dedication to the fraternity were evident in his pivotal role in the Beta Gamma Foundation, which provided scholarships to young men and women pursuing higher education.
