She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kahny (O'Kane) and Harry Kahny; her sisters, Helen Haydon, Margaret Kahny, Rosemary McNally and Jean Wood; and her stepson Eddie Sweeney.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Sweeney; her sister Carol Kahny; her daughter Meghan Harrison; her son-in-law Bucky Harrison; her stepdaughter Kelly Sweeney; and her grandchildren, Ava Harrison, Liam Harrison and Robert LeFevre.
