With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary L. Arata of Yardley, Pennsylvania, born in Lower Makefield, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rupprecht and Agnes Rupprecht (late Russell Arata); her son David Arata; her daughters-in-law, Susan Arata and Judith Arata; and her siblings, John, Francis, Paul, William, Charles, Helen, Robert, Alvin and Edward.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Arata of St. Louis, MO, Alan Arata (Peg) of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph Arata (Suly) of Avon Park, FL, Mary Lou Mercatanti (Paul) of New Hope, PA and K. C. Reinard (Ray) of Newtown, PA; and her grandchildren, John, Bryan, Mary Robin, Matthew, Michelle, Robin, Andrew, April, Piero, Carolyn, Russell, Renee and Brittany. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the VFW Auxiliary 1444 Yardley-Newtown Road #4046 Yardley, PA 19067.
