He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Johnson and Maude Johnson (Renninger); and his brother Millard C. Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his sibling Shirley Cordrey; his wife Jean Johnson (Tegeler); his daughter Suzanne Johnson; his son-in-law Edwin Barford of Fairless Hills; and his sisters, Jeanette Daniels of Drums, PA and Jacqueline Davis of Laurel, DE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
