He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Boyce and Pearl Boyce; his daughters, Kathryn Doran (Paul) and JoAnn Rocque (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Peter Doran (Lara), John Doran (Jill), Alexander Rocque (Emily) and Stacey Rocque (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Nellie Doran, Finn Doran and Jude Rocque; his brother Terry Boyce (Ellen); his wife Helen Boyce (Hardegan) of Virginia; and his brother Paul (Melissa Boyce).
