He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. Ryan and Mary Katherine Conway Ryan; his spouse Enda O'Brien Ryan; his children, John G. Ryan and Oona; his son-in-law Ian Hodges; his sons, Dennis Ryan, Michael (Diane Ryan), Joseph (Mary Ryan) and Christopher (Janice Ryan); and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Ryan. He was also cherished by his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
